We feel blessed at Mountain View that God has called preacher Jack Hitch and his wife Peggy to pastor our church. The Hitch’s have been married 52 years. One of their greatest joys in life is spending time with their family, especially their 7 grandchildren. Over their 45 years in ministry, together they have served in several churches, going back to some twice. Anyone who has met Jack and Peggy describe them with one word: loving.

Jack returned to pastor Mountain View a second time in 2006. It was during this pastorship that God began to move in Jack’s heart, and our congregation about our need for a new church building. God truly has moved mountains and provided in countless ways during the building process. Pastor Jack is passionate about helping the church grow in number, but most importantly growing in their personal walk with Christ.

Jack feels it is his duty as pastor to bring out the best in every congregation member. Because of this desire, ministries such as visitation in the community and discipling future church leaders in our younger congregation are close to his heart. If you were to ask preacher Jack what a good goal for our congregation would be, he would say, to become one with the Father.
