TeamKids is one of the main community outreaches we do here at Mountain View. TeamKids is a curriculum that kids of all ages follow every Wednesday night during the school calendar year. Our time together consists of:
Community Meal
Bible Study
Games
Music
The meal is a great opportunity for community members and parents rushing to church to slow down, eat, and spend time together!
The most important part of TeamKids is the Bible study. We follow a curriculum that is grounded in Biblical truth and teaches each student why the Bible still applies to their life today. Our prayer is that many students would come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, then grow in their faith and knowledge of Him.
We also have a game time! We find that this is a great opportunity for kids who have been stuck at school all day to get some energy out and fellowship with other students. Our music time is geared towards each individual class that comes in. For example, the Preschoolers may learn “Jesus Loves Me” while the high school youth may learn a more contemporary song. This time is designed to allow students to learn to worship Christ in a way that speaks to them.
There is space for you here each Wednesday night! We have classes from nursery all the way up to adults. The church van is also available for rides if needed. For more information on riding the church van please contact us @ (865)216-0071
